The following is an overview of our online order process:

1(a). Browsing: Browse through our online catalog to find a water purification product to suit your needs. From the storefront welcome page, you may click on the image of a General Ecology^® product to learn more about that line of purifiers. Buy it or click on the name of a specific product to lean more and/or buy it.

1(b). Searching: Alternatively, you may press the "search" button located on the control bar at the bottom of the page. Type the name or part number of the General Ecology product desired. A list of results will be shown. Click on the name of the product to learn more about it, or click "add to basket" to reserve the chosen item to your shopping basket. Note: Quotes around search term is not required. (e.g. wrong: "search term"/ right: search term)

2. Choosing: Press the "buy it" button located at the bottom of each product page, or if viewing search results, click "add to basket". This reserves the chosen item to your shopping basket. To order more than one of an item, delete the number '1" from the quantity box and type in the desired number. You may either continue shopping or checkout.*

* Note: You may remove an item from your shopping basket at anytime by removing the check mark next to the item in the basket then pressing the "update" button.

3. Checkout: Follow instructions on checkout page to complete process. Payment methods are by American Express^®, Discover Card^®, MasterCard^® and Visa^®.

Note: Online orders in-stock are shipped within 2 business days after our receipt of the order. We note orders received after 12:00 noon (ET) or on any non-business day (weekends, holidays) are not processed until the next business day. General Ecology Inc. determines the carrier. The choices for the online store include either Federal Express or UPS. Duties and tariffs applicable to international orders will not appear online but are required to be paid by customer upon receipt of product. Federal Express or UPS bills these fees directly to the customer. Please note that shipments outside of the United States and Canada are not available online. Alternative shipping methods and destinations are available by off-line ordering. Express shipping is also available off-line See "Customer Service- Shipping" for more details including delivery transit time and holiday delivery times.
